Over the Rainbow started in March 2010 and was BBC One's & Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's TV talent search for Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz.
Dean's Midas choice for the show was Sophie Evans from Tonypandy in Wales.
Sophie went on to finish in 2nd place.
Dean said "Sophie stood out a mile during the audition shows and it was an easy choice for her to be my Midas act."
"Sophie's boyfriend Tom and her family have been so supportive of me and my work and I have already told them that Sophie is set for a very successful career in the business."
David Evans (Sophie's dad) said to Dean "Thanks very much for your belief and terrific support."
Tom Rees (Sophie's Boyfriend) also thanked Dean for his support and just a couple of days after the Final Sophie sent this to Dean "Thanks for your support."
Update - July 22nd 2010
It was announced today that Sophie Evans will be the understudy to Danielle Evans once the show opens in early 2011.
Dean said "I said from the audition stages that Sophie would be Dorothy and yet again I have been proved right."
"I wish her all the luck in the world for the future."

Last season Dean famously backed Newcastle United (see Midas page VI) as they won the Championship and now as the Toon return to the Premier league, Dean has announced that he is staying with them for another season.
Dean said "The doom and gloom merchants in the media are already talking about Newcastle struggling and that they will get relegated, but it won't happen."
"Even the most hardened sceptical Newcastle fan got behind me last season and that's why I won't let them down this season, this time next year Newcastle fans will be looking forward to another season in the Premier league."
